THE PROGRAMME :
We offer a 4 Qigong workshops mosaic accessible to everybody. Our teaching programme starts after our
introductory meeting on Friday morning at 10.00 until Sunday noon. Two sessions of 1 1/2 hours for each
workshop and free exchanges on Sunday morning will allow you 14 hours getting a taste of a variety of
approches to Qigong.
THE LOCATION :
Paris Qigong takes places at the Belgian Students’House of « Cité Universitaire Internationale »
The « Cité » is located on a wooded park of 34 hectares in the south of the French capital. Close to it,
several hotels will offer comfortable rooms for reasonnable prices :

GETTING THERE :
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is situated in front of RER B station « Cité Universitaire » and easily
accessible from Roissy as well from Orly airports : Direct ride from Roissy airport by RER B, or from Orly aiport,
Orlyval to Antony then RER B.

Franco Mescola
has studied martial arts for over 40 years and internal arts since 1975. In 1985 he founded the Tai Chi
Research Centre in his native Venice and has worked in hospitals researching the effects of qigong on patients.
He has also written a number of articles and books on internal arts and hosts an international internal arts
festival in Venice.
Sue Woodd
has worked in Complementary Medicine for the past 20 years, founding her own school in 1991.
She is a registered Trainer with the Shiatsu Society and she teaches for the European School of Tai Chi Ch'uan,
and is a graduate of the College of Cranial Sacral Therapy. and teacher affiliated with Yoga Alliance.
As an International Master Trainer she trains fitness instructors and lectures for leading Health Farms and
Fitness Companies worldwide.
Ronnie Robinson
studied taijiquan since 1981, is a professional instructor and active promoter of internal arts through his various
roles as Promotions Manager - Tai Chi Union for Great Britain, Secretary - Taijiquan & Qigong Federation for
Europeand editor of Tai Chi Chuan & Internal Arts magazine (UK). He has also written three books on
Tai Chi and articles for European and American Journals.
Marianne Plouvier
studied and teaches Ancient Style of Yang Taiji Martial Arts since 1990. She is regularly staying in Taïwan for
deepening her knowledges. As a competitor then as a judge, she took part to a number of french and
international competitions. As a member of the Fédération Française de Wushu Executive Commitee,
she is an active promoter of Internal Arts.

The Dao-yin of the Dragon is an ancient Taoist practice which energetically strengthens and detoxifies
the internal systems of the body, through a deep internal massage. Practiced daily it re-aligns the spine and
strengthens the nervous system, increases lung capacity, stimulates metabolism, regulates the endocrine
system encourages lymphatic drainage, keeps the body flexible, supple and trim. Tien Hsiao is a powerful
Qigong form used to balance left and right brain function and the Yin and Yang energies in the body.
The Biospirali Method is a way to improve health and self- consciousness by means of exercises,
visualisations, and appropriated breathing. The practice attaches particular importance to the connective
and fascial systems. This art offers useful indications and benefits to practitioners of contemplative internal
arts such as Yoga, Zen or Tai Chi as well as athletes of competitive sports or to people involved in activities
requiring a high degree of concentration.
Dayan Qigong is a traditional system of daoist origin, named after the wild goose. Its multitude of movements
shaped to show the extraordinary strength of this bird as well as its beauty are set in two sequences
of 64 parts each. These movements which are designed to boost the Qi energy system, clear negative energy,
increase mental clarity and thereby and leave the practitioner feeling revitalised, refreshed and both mentally
and physically stimulated.
The « General Yue Fei Eight Pieces of Brocade » are coming from Yue Fei, high rank military chief,
living under Song chinese dynasty from 1103 to 1141. Legend tells that he has enriched an already
antique corporel practice to strengthen against bad environmental conditions his officers’health, based in the
north China borderline to prevent from the Jin’s invasion. This Qigong, composed of eight mouvements,
contrasting with popular Dao Yin Qigong, is a dynamic and spread out Qigong.
